What we found

Between June and September, parents, SBMC members and GIRLsLEAD fellows visited schools across Egbeda and recorded what they saw using Traza+. Each report was geo-tagged and checked against the indicator framework before it was counted.

Across six primary schools, parents counted three working toilets for roughly 900 pupils at the worst-served school. Only a fraction of the WASH allocation reached schools; most of it sat unspent at the end of the third quarter.

What we are asking for

  1. 1Release the remaining WASH allocation to SBMC accounts.
  2. 2Build separate girls' toilets with MHM facilities.
