What we found
Between June and September, parents, SBMC members and GIRLsLEAD fellows visited schools across Iseyin and recorded what they saw using Traza+. Each report was geo-tagged and checked against the indicator framework before it was counted.
We then matched those reports to the published budget. The money was approved and most of it was released, but the schools we visited received only a small share of what was promised. In several cases, items listed as delivered could not be found during visits.
"We are not asking for new money. We are asking for the money already approved to reach our schools."Adeola K., GIRLsLEAD Fellow
What we are asking for
- 1Publish the delivery list for the 2026 furniture contract by school.
- 2Deliver the outstanding desks before the second term begins.
- 3Invite SBMCs to sign off deliveries at each school.
